The first half of this is excellent, as are the last 15 seconds. (The rest—as I recall Harold Bloom once saying about John Barth's work after The Sot-Weed Factor—loses me. I mean, I have a kind of begrudging respect for it.* Anyway, four great minutes out of seven in a comedy sketch has got to be some kind of world record. Full respect to Trophy Dad!)
* And I liked Giles Goat-Boy.
