sometimes reality itself is juvenile

Actual names on a—what would you call it, a "buzzer," metonymically?—somewhere in Manhattan, I forget where exactly.  My own "buzzer" has "A. HUMAN," which is pretty good, but fully 44% of the names in this list are funny, 56% if you count Pabst.*

Messrs./Mmes.** Kochman, Foecking, Har[d]wood, and Junk, I apologize for making fun of your names.  Although, to be fair, you've got to admit you're kind of asking for it.

* I'd prefer to write these as fractions, but there's no good way I know.  Once again, handwriting and type beat word processing and HTML.
** Some very quick research suggests that the "Mmes." is a rather frowned-upon solution to the question of a ladies' version of "Messrs."—a question that seems to inspire some strong feelings among the, I don't know, probably five or six people in the world who've given it a moment's thought.
