PSA [UPDATED]

ATTENTION, CITIZENS!

When writing prices in English,* the dollar sign always precedes the dollar amount.

  • CORRECT: $25
  • INCORRECT: 25$

So the following is wrong:

Also, generally we say "Happy Hour," not "Happy Hours"—and normally one would never capitalize the word "For" unless it were the first or last word of a sentence or title—and the American convention is to use the 12-hour clock with an a.m. or a p.m. Honestly, though, I'm just going to go ahead and tell you not to worry about those things. Too advanced, clearly.

But 3$? 7$? No. No.
Honey...no.

YOU MAY NOW RETURN TO YOUR DRAB, WRETCHED LIVES.

* Dangling modifier. Awkward! –ed.
